Since i’ve been NYC I met up with a fellow depthCore artist, Ikaruga from Montreal for the first time, great guy. Ika played a bitcore/gabber set as Aliceffect at this club in Chinatown called Tank, lots of fun. Everything was lo-fi/8bit, from the modded NES visuals, to the performers sequencing on their gameboys. An underground culture i’ve always knew existed, but never experienced till this point, very small and tight like drum & bass.
