I’ve been meaning to write about Andy Gilmore for a while. I’m really in love with this guy’s work. He resides in Rochester, NY and has done work for URB, Ghostly International, Wired, and many other big brands. Andy takes simple forms and lines and creates some really nice minimalist compositions. His use of repetition, combined with his muted spectral colors palettes are really nice. I’m pretty much a sucker for anything psychedelic and really like his drawings and black and white line work as well. His work looks very experimental, but i think it’s the simplicity and his use of design principles that make his work so accessible.
